LIMITED OPENINGS FOR PSYCHOTHERAPISTS, POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS, & PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Sabi Psychology is a small and diverse multidisciplinary private practice serving adults in Michigan. We focus our clinical and psychiatric care on adapting evidence-based approaches to meet the complex realities and needs of each individual including their social and cultural context and values, and place a strong emphasis on culturally responsive, gender-affirming, and neurodiversity affirming care and supervision.

Special areas of emphasis and training for therapy include Liberation Psychology, Multicultural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dignity Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. We offer networking and collaboration, a weekly case consult group, and opportunities for you to share your expertise with our practice and the public. There may be additional opportunities, such as supervision and training in couples therapy, adult immigration evaluations, social security evaluations, and group therapy if desired.

This practice prioritizes work-life balance which includes flexibility in hours and caseload to suit your professional and personal needs.  We strive to foster a collaborative and nurturing practice that values your skills, strengths, and wisdom, and supports and encourages your unique voice and development as a professional. Each of our providers offers their own perspectives and areas of expertise which makes for a fulfilling and enriching environment.

We offer a private practice mentorship model with the goal of guiding and supporting you to start your own private practice, if desired.  There is an overflowing referral base, a very competitive fee-split, and no non-compete agreement. All candidates must be licensed or license eligible in the State of Michigan. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, and a strong interest in working with adult populations from an inclusive, affirming, and strengths-based framework. Requirements are a proclivity to learn, share, and collaborate as a team member.
